Pre-Installation OffSite
The requirement to complete pre-installation work on Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) offsite before transportation is a well-established and highly beneficial practice in modern construction. Our core principle approach of offsite manufacturing, involves fabricating panels and integrating components in a controlled factory environment before shipping them to the construction site.

What's "Pre-Install Offsite" Involved
Moving beyond the basic manufacturing of the SIP itself, offsite pre-installation can encompass several levels of completion:
-
Component Integration: Manufacturers can fit rigid insulation between studs and install pre-finished windows and external doors directly into the panels before they are dispatched.
-
Pre-Assembly into Larger Sections: Individual wall and floor panels can be pre-assembled together in any desired configuration prior to shipping. These larger, pre-assembled wall sections can then be delivered for crane installation, significantly speeding up the on-site process.
-
Services and Finishes: In more advanced systems, panels can be fabricated with pre-cut electrical chases, and even internal wall finishes and external claddings can be applied in the factory.
-
On-Site Assembly Factories: For some developments, a temporary "pop-up" factory can even be established on or near the development site. This allows for the creation of large, fully fitted-out modular sections without the need for long-distance road transport
